The library system of the University comprises the following units: the Main Library, two branch libraries, two faculty libraries (the Faculty of Pharmacy Library and the Faculty of Nursing Library and Health Care Sciences) and twenty department libraries..

The library collection contains 333 076 accession items: books - 267 816; periodicals - 55 357; special collection (total) - 9 916 (dissertations - 6 673; old prints - 491; films - 585; microfiches - 1 781; CD-ROMS - 155; other - 231). The library subscribes 475 journals in print form (266 - Polish and 209 forgein titles) and 9318 online journals.

Computer catalogue database in library system HORIZON provides information about the contents of the library.
